## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Own full-cycle recruiting from sourcing and screening through interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
- Partner with hiring managers and founders to define role requirements and ideal candidate profiles.
- Build, iterate, and scale recruiting processes for a high-growth startup environment.
- Develop sourcing strategies to identify and engage passive candidates through creative channels.
- Deliver an excellent candidate experience.
- Monitor talent-market conditions and provide insights on competitive hiring trends.
- Represent the company by helping define and communicate its employer brand and candidate pitch.
- Track and report pipeline metrics and recruiting performance.

## Requirements
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
- Proven track record of attracting top talent.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and build processes from scratch.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional partners.
- Based in or willing to relocate to New York City.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid model.
- Practical, hands-on AI fluency, including the ability to discuss AI tools, workflows, and outcomes used in day-to-day work.

## Nice-to-haves
- Experience hiring in AI, machine learning, or LegalTech.
- Experience at an early-stage, venture-backed company.
- Familiarity with Ashby.

## Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary: $130,000–$180,000 per year, plus equity.
