## Job Description

## Job Responsibilities
- Serve as the day-to-day technical expert for igaming, sportsbook, fantasy sports, and predictions opportunities, partnering with Account Executive Directors as the primary pre-sales Solution Consultant.
- Lead discovery with prospects to understand their business models, risk posture, regulatory constraints, and flows, then translate into tailored Socure solution architectures.
- Design end-to-end identity and fraud workflows across Socure’s products including API integration patterns, decisioning logic, rules, and data orchestration, focusing on gaming-specific use cases such as multi-accounting, bonus abuse, self-exclusion, and responsible gaming controls.
- Collaborate with Data Science to scope, design, and execute proof-of-concepts (POCs) and backtests, defining success metrics and presenting recommendations.
- Partner with Product and Product Marketing to funnel field insights into roadmap discussions, solution patterns, and external thought leadership.
- Participate in business development activities including demos, presentations, RFPs/RFIs, SOWs, and pricing scenarios.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders by simplifying complex technical concepts into actionable business decisions.
- Partner with post-sales teams for smooth handoffs and value realization.
- Contribute to internal best practices for gaming and sportsbook and mentor junior Solution Consultants.
- Stay ahead of gaming industry trends, fraud vectors, and regulations.

## Job Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience, including at least 4+ years in a client-facing technical role such as solution consulting, sales engineering, professional services, or technical pre-sales within enterprise SaaS, data products, or risk/identity platforms.
- Meaningful experience in online gaming, sportsbook, fantasy sports, or adjacent regulated digital wagering/payments environments, with exposure to digital onboarding, KYC/KYB, transaction monitoring, or fraud/risk management.
- Demonstrated track record leading complex, multi-stakeholder pre-sales engagements end-to-end.
- Strong technical depth across modern SaaS and data architectures, including RESTful APIs, event-driven or batch data integrations, rules/decision engines, analytics, and familiarity with ML/DS-adjacent technologies.
- Ability to synthesize complex statistical and technical information into clear, business-oriented recommendations.
- Experience bridging technical and non-technical audiences with excellent communication skills and executive presence.
- Proven collaboration skills across Sales, Data Science, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success.
- Demonstrated commitment to leadership behaviors including continuous learning, communication, ownership, mentoring, judgment, and adaptability.
- Willingness to travel up to ~30%.
- 45 miles within one of our talent Hubs (DC, Seattle, SF, NYC, MIA)
