## Job Description

## Opportunity
Deepgram is the foundational AI company for voice. Build the Intelligence Layer—a system of autonomous agents that monitor, reason, and act on data to drive NRR and operational excellence. High-leverage, player-coach role at the intersection of Product, Sales, and Finance.

## What You'll Do
- **AI-Augmented Intelligence:** Architect and deploy agent-assisted systems that proactively reason across silos (e.g., correlating API latency with churn signals in Salesforce) for automated root-cause analysis and recommendations.
- **Infrastructure Evolution:** Co-evolve data stack with Engineering; define semantic layer and data contracts for agent-ready infrastructure.
- **Unlock Audio Intelligence:** Leverage Deepgram's Voice AI models to structure internal calls into queryable insights.
- **Strategic Leadership:** Serve as primary data partner to CEO and Board; define source of truth for usage-based revenue models.
- **Team Building:** Recruit and lead elite team of AI-native engineers.

## It's Important To Us That You Have
- 7+ years in data/analytics roles, with 2+ years leading teams at high-growth technology companies
- Expert-level proficiency in **SQL** and **Python**
- Experience building agentic systems that navigate data warehouses autonomously
- Founder's mindset with usage-based SaaS metrics experience (NRR, consumption patterns)
- Track record leading teams with evolving data infrastructure

## It Would Be Great if You Had
- Prior experience as Data Engineer or Software Engineer
- Open-source contributions in data/AI
- Experience with real-time billing/consumption systems
