## Job Description

## Key Responsibilities
- Drive AI-First Automation: Build AI-driven workflows to predict and order hardware based on hiring profiles and automate inventory replenishment.
- Architect Global Expansion: Lead technical strategy to scale fulfillment from 40 to 130 countries by designing integrations with third-party suppliers and logistics providers.
- Master Complex Integrations: Build resilient systems to handle data discrepancies from third-party logistics (e.g., mismatched serial numbers or tracking IDs) while maintaining Rippling as the source of truth.
- Fullstack Product Ownership: Focus primarily on complex backend architecture while contributing to frontend interfaces for admins to track global device fleets.
- Bridge Physical & Digital Security: Oversee device provisioning with always-on encryption, antivirus, and compliance software.

## Requirements
- Proven experience as a Staff or Principal Engineer in a product-oriented environment scaling complex systems.
- Strong expertise in backend development (Python/Django preferred) with willingness to work on frontend (React) for end-to-end features.
- Experience dealing with unreliable real-world data and building defensive, fault-tolerant systems for third-party APIs.
- Product mentality: Proactively suggest features to improve user experience for Hiring Managers and IT Admins.
- High agency: Comfortable owning projects from discovery with stakeholders through deployment and maintenance.

## Nice-to-Haves
- Prior experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), supply chain logistics, or heavy third-party API integrations.
