## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Lead a high-performing team of Applied Field Engineers specializing in Generative AI, Machine Learning, and Advanced Analytics.
- Drive customer consumption activation, production deployment, and realization of contracted credit value.
- Coach engineers on technical sales engagements and prioritize high-impact opportunities.
- Review customer architectures and provide hands-on guidance to ensure scalability and prevent technical debt.
- Participate in customer engagements as a player/coach, including architectural discussions and executive-level conversations.
- Aggregate field insights, communicate product gaps and customer blockers, and inform roadmap discussions.
- Partner with Sales leadership to align technical resources with regional pipeline and key accounts.
- Support Communities of Practice and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop Applied Field Engineers.
- Conduct regular 1:1s, provide feedback, manage performance, and support career development.

## Requirements
- 8+ years of industry experience in pre-sales, technical sales, or technical consulting.
- 2+ years of people management experience, preferably leading technical overlay or specialist teams.
- Experience driving activation and usage in consumption-based software models.
- Hands-on technical depth in at least one of: Generative AI/LLMs, Machine Learning, Data Engineering, or Cloud Data Architecture.
- Ability to engage VP- and Director-level stakeholders and translate technical value into business outcomes.
- University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

## Compensation
- Salary range: $207,000–$271,688.
