## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Lead annual budgeting and recurring forecasting across company, business-unit, customer, contract, and project levels.
- Develop revenue forecasts using contract funding, deployed staff, bill rates, and utilization.
- Analyze actual performance against budget and forecast, identify variance root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor customer, contract, and project performance, including margin, funding, and burn rates.
- Analyze bill rates, pay rates, fringe, and overhead to support staffing and compensation decisions.
- Track backlog and contract funding, identifying potential exhaustion dates and operational risks.
- Develop short- and medium-term cash-flow forecasts and monitor accounts receivable and DSO trends.
- Create recurring reporting on revenue, margin, backlog, and cash flow, communicating changes, causes, and recommendations.
- Partner with leadership and Operations to model opportunities, pricing, and staffing scenarios.
- Automate recurring reports and models, build dashboards, and establish consistent KPI definitions.
- Lead and develop the finance team, including staffing, workload balancing, performance reviews, coaching, retention, and succession planning.

## Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, financial operations, or business finance.
- At least 3 years of direct management or supervisory experience.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear business recommendations.
- Track record of implementing automation to streamline financial processes.

## Nice-to-haves
- Government contracting experience, including contract economics, funding, backlog, and burn rates.
- Workforce and labor economics experience in a professional-services environment.
- MBA, CFA, CPA, or CMA.

## Compensation and Benefits
- Base compensation: $130,000–$150,000 USD annually.
