## Job Description

## Key Responsibilities

### Shipping & Receiving
- Process incoming and outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently
- Inspect received equipment for accuracy and damage
- Prepare, package, and ship hardware according to company standards
- Coordinate with vendors and carriers for timely deliveries
- Maintain shipping documentation and tracking records

### Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and asset tracking records
- Perform routine cycle counts and full inventory audits
- Update inventory systems with serialized equipment and asset details
- Organize and maintain warehouse and staging areas
- Monitor inventory levels and report restocking needs

### Technical Configuration & Scripting
- Configure network and endpoint devices prior to shipment (routers, switches, firewalls, PCs, etc.)
- Deploy standard configuration templates and firmware updates
- Develop, modify, and execute configuration scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python, or vendor CLI scripting)
- Validate configurations through testing and quality assurance checks
- Troubleshoot basic hardware and configuration issues
- Maintain documentation for configuration standards and processes

## Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in shipping, inventory, or warehouse operations
- Experience with hardware staging and device configuration
- Working knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar)
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals (IP addressing, VLANs, routing concepts)
- Experience with asset management or inventory tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

## Preferred Qualifications
- Experience configuring network equipment (Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet, Ubiquiti, etc.)
- Familiarity with automation tools or configuration management systems
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certification
- Experience in an MSP or IT deployment environment
