> Owns manufacturing process design, partner line and site bring-up, and production performance for servers, racks, and accelerator systems. Requires 8+ years in complex electronics or electromechanical manufacturing, strong process-quality expertise, and willingness to travel up to 50%.

## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Design and document assembly, rack integration, and test processes for new server and rack products, including work instructions, process flows, takt and cycle-time targets, and line layouts.
- Lead new line and site bring-up at contract manufacturing and ODM partners through process validation, capacity verification, pilot builds, and mass-production release.
- Specify, source, and validate tooling, fixtures, and test equipment.
- Own first-pass yield, cycle time, and process capability in production; run SPC, analyze failure and rework data, and drive corrective actions.
- Provide design-for-manufacturing and design-for-test feedback during product development and represent manufacturing in pilot-build reviews.
- Qualify process and engineering changes, including PFMEA updates, control-plan revisions, and operator training.
- Replicate qualified processes across lines and sites without yield or throughput regression, and audit partner lines against company standards.
- Partner with product engineering, test engineering, quality, and supply chain to resolve systemic build issues and reduce unit cost.
- Travel to domestic and international partner manufacturing sites up to 50% of the time.

## Requirements
- 8+ years of manufacturing or process engineering experience for complex electromechanical or electronics products built at a contract manufacturer or ODM.
- End-to-end experience designing and releasing production processes, including line layouts, work instructions, fixtures, testing, yield, and cycle-time ownership through mass production.
- Experience leading new line or site bring-up at a manufacturing partner.
- Experience with PFMEA, control plans, SPC, process capability, gauge R&R, DFM/DFT, and structured root-cause methods such as 8D.
- Ability to diagnose process problems through factory-floor observation and telemetry analysis.
- Clear communication with partner engineers, operators, and leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

## Nice-to-haves
- Experience manufacturing servers, racks, switches, or accelerator systems at data-center scale.
- Experience with liquid-cooled rack integration, including cold plates, manifolds, CDUs, and leak-and-fill testing.
- Experience with SMT, PCBA, box build, and rack-level system integration and testing.
- Experience qualifying a second contract manufacturer or site for an existing product.
- Experience with lean and continuous-improvement methods, including value-stream mapping, kaizen, and Six Sigma.
- Master's degree or higher in a relevant engineering discipline.

## Compensation and benefits
- Annual salary: $320,000–$405,000 USD.
- Competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and office space.
