## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Help define team strategy, scope, and working rhythms.
- Run workshops with product management to identify strategic product-investment opportunities.
- Partner with product managers, engineers, and data analysts on requirements, roadmaps, and user experiences.
- Work with UX Research on user and usability testing throughout the product lifecycle.
- Apply human-centered design informed by psychology, data, and user research.
- Coordinate with designers across adjacent product surfaces to maintain consistency.
- Champion user needs and incorporate feedback from peers, stakeholders, and customers.
- Own projects from concept through engineering-ready deliverables.
- Create polished customer experiences across web, mobile web, and native applications.
- Use AI tools in an AI-native product design and development process.
- Establish and track customer experience metrics.

## Requirements
- 5+ years of UX or product design experience.
- Proven customer and business outcomes from design work.
- Experience using data analytics and partnering with analytics teams.
- Proficiency with Figma and prototyping software.
- Experience designing for web, mobile web, and native apps.
- Strong cross-functional coordination, communication, critical thinking, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to consolidate diverse stakeholder perspectives and align objectives.
- Experience collaborating with creative teams.
- Data-driven approach using business, product, and UX metrics.
- In-depth knowledge of UX research methodologies and collaborative partnership with UX Research teams.
- Comfort with ambiguity and managing multiple projects or teams simultaneously.
- Familiarity with and curiosity about AI tools in product design and development.
- Commitment to high-quality, polished work.
- Bachelor's degree in human-computer interaction, user experience design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

## Nice-to-haves
- Experience with a two-sided marketplace.
- Experience designing for numeracy, price comprehension, and economic or marketplace mechanics.
