The role partners cross-functionally to launch new rails, improve controls and reporting, and reduce manual work through automation and AI-enabled workflows.

## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Run daily reconciliation of crypto and fiat across banks, payment financial institutions, liquidity providers, and exchanges.
- Monitor live payment flows across domestic and international payment, on-ramp, and off-ramp rails.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve stalled, failed, returned, rejected, and recalled transactions.
- Own reconciliation and exception handling for assigned rails and partners.
- Escalate payment issues, settlement delays, and failed conversions, partnering with Customer Support as needed.
- Coordinate with Treasury on operating balances, prefunding, rebalancing, and settlement timing.
- Improve reconciliation systems, dashboards, reporting, monitoring, and alerting.
- Track throughput, settlement latency, and exception-rate KPIs.
- Create and maintain SOPs, runbooks, acceptance criteria, and testing plans for new functionality, rails, partners, and corridors.
- Support end-to-end testing, product readiness, QA, and settlement validation before launches.
- Use automation and AI-enabled workflows to reduce manual effort and improve exception handling.

## Requirements and Qualifications
- Ability to independently own payment reconciliation and exception handling across assigned rails and partners.
- Ability to diagnose issues spanning multiple partners and systems.
- Ability to distinguish issues requiring escalation from those that can be resolved directly.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Payment Operations, Treasury, Product, GTM, Customer Support, and QA.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment with evolving responsibilities.
- AI-first mindset and interest in building scalable operational processes.

## Compensation
- Annual salary range: $100,000–$160,000.
