## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Own product design initiatives end to end, from discovery and scoping through launch and adoption.
- Frame ambiguous problem spaces and develop concepts balancing vision, craft, speed, and business potential.
- Guide product decisions with structured thinking and clearly articulated design rationale.
- Partner closely with engineering and product managers in autonomous project teams.
- Interview customers and translate research insights into the roadmap.
- Design and ship polished features and improvements to key product flows.
- Build foundational design systems that help the team move faster.
- Prototype in Figma and AI coding tools, including Cursor and Claude Code, using the codebase to make concepts tangible.
- Help shape design culture, hiring, and ways of working.

## Requirements
- 6+ years of product design experience.
- 2+ years designing products at a similar scale and complexity.
- Experience with complex systems, B2B SaaS, enterprise products, and products where the designer is not the primary user.
- Track record of independently driving design from discovery through launch while balancing user needs, technical constraints, and business goals.
- Extremely strong visual and interaction design craft.
- Ability to explain ideas clearly and build alignment with product, engineering, research, and marketing partners.
- Fluency in Figma and AI-powered design tools.
- Strong prototyping skills.
- Curiosity about AI and an understanding of how it works.
- Ownership mindset and ability to see problems through to effective solutions.

## Nice-to-haves
- Experience creating, maintaining, or contributing to a design system.
- Technical understanding of large language models and experience building on top of them or shaping their behavior.
- Hands-on experience with voice technology, conversational AI, speech synthesis, or audio production.
- Broad design experience spanning systems thinking, strategy, pixel-level details, and interaction flows.
