## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Own full-cycle recruiting—including sourcing, screening, and closing—for technical roles within a focused area.
- Partner with hiring managers and founders to scope roles, define calibrated hiring bars, and build pragmatic hiring strategies.
- Build and nurture pipelines of technical talent through proactive outreach and referrals with high-touch, personalized engagement.
- Run structured, bias-aware screens that assess technical depth and mission fit.
- Deliver an exceptional end-to-end candidate experience and represent the company’s mission and culture.
- Drive offers and closes using market and compensation data.
- Maintain a clean ATS, report on funnel health, and continuously improve recruiting processes.
- Use AI tooling to improve sourcing and screening efficiency while preserving a personal touch.

## Requirements
- 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, ideally at a high-growth startup or in AI/ML, infrastructure, or deep tech.
- Track record of closing senior and hard-to-fill engineering or research roles in a competitive market.
- Strong technical fluency and the ability to discuss engineering roles, technology stacks, and technical recruiting needs credibly.
- Fluency with modern AI-powered sourcing and screening tools.
- Experience with Ashby.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong commitment to candidate experience.
- Comfort with ambiguity and a fast-changing, high-bar environment.

## Nice to Have
- Familiarity with the open-source AI ecosystem, including PyTorch, model serving, and inference.
- Experience building recruiting processes or employer-brand programs at an early-stage company.
