## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Own the roadmap for critical portions of the Blackbird platform and product experience end-to-end, from strategy and prioritization through execution and launch.
- Define and drive product vision for features balancing speed, quality, and scale across restaurant-facing and consumer-facing experiences.
- Partner with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and operations to ship high-quality products.
- Understand restaurant operators, servers, and diners through research, data analysis, and field work.
- Translate complex operational and technical constraints into user-centered product solutions.
- Develop strategies to create product leverage through AI tools.
- Set clear goals and metrics, track progress, and use data to inform iteration.
- Identify and resolve systemic problems across payment flows, loyalty mechanics, and restaurant integrations.
- Represent the customer voice and elevate the user experience.

## Requirements
- 4+ years of product management experience, ideally in consumer experiences, payments, fintech, or marketplace platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to ship impactful products in fast-moving environments while maintaining quality and scalability.
- High ownership, grit, and judgment in managing scope and complex problems.
- Strong user empathy and regular customer engagement.
- Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Analytical and structured thinking, including writing PRDs, analyzing funnels, and whiteboarding system designs.
- Clear, compelling communication and the ability to influence without authority.

## Nice to Haves
- Experience with consumer apps involving loyalty, rewards, or membership mechanics.
- Interest in applying AI to build world-class products.
- Experience at a high-growth startup with fluid scope and significant ambiguity.

## Compensation and Benefits
- Target annual salary: **$170,000–$200,000 USD**, depending on work location and experience.
- Equity is provided as part of the overall compensation package.
