## Job Description

## Responsibilities

- Partner with Sales to perform deep discovery, map customer organizations, quantify business value, and define pilots, including MVPs, success criteria, and timelines.
- Own the non-technical lifecycle of Forward Deployed Engineering engagements as the product manager for the customer's problem.
- Author product requirements documents (PRDs), prioritize engineering backlogs, manage scope, and perform hands-on quality assurance testing.
- Drive engineering teams through agile processes and manage communications from C-suite stakeholders to individual engineers.
- Escalate and unblock technical or political issues.
- Own Day 0 launches, manage war rooms, drive adoption, capture user feedback, and prove defined business value.
- Scope ongoing maintenance plans and create customer documentation and training.
- Identify subsequent high-value engagements through trusted-advisor relationships.
- Travel up to 50%.

## Requirements

- Executive presence, C-suite gravitas, and excellent communication skills.
- Product and systems thinking, including SWOT analysis, competitive analysis, and defining what to build and why.
- Relentless execution and a hands-on approach to delivery.
- Experience in value-based scoping, including total cost of ownership (TCO) and return on investment (ROI).
- Experience managing agile software projects and writing PRDs.
- Proven experience as a Deployment Strategist, in a hands-on builder or founder role at a high-growth startup, or in senior client-facing product or delivery roles at a leading technology company or top-tier consultancy.
