## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Serve as the embedded clinical partner to a product pod, collaborating across clinical, product, engineering, and licensed-clinician teams.
- Apply systems-based and root-cause medicine principles to product development.
- Partner with Engineering to design and run clinical AI evaluations.
- Define clinically meaningful outputs, quality thresholds, evaluation rubrics, and assessments for accuracy, clinical intent, omissions, hallucinations, and medication-safety failures.
- Translate clinical reasoning into technical specifications, including prompts, context, and decision logic.
- Own the clinical quality bar for AI product areas from requirements and kickoff through launch validation and ongoing monitoring.
- Evaluate AI outputs using blood biomarkers, wearable, omics, imaging, and gut microbiome data.
- Identify when product behavior must change as evidence, guidelines, or standards of care evolve.

## Requirements
- MD, DO, or equivalent clinical doctorate with substantial hands-on clinical practice and responsibility for patient care.
- Deep expertise in one or more clinical domains, ideally including systems medicine.
- Strong clinical reasoning and ability to distinguish established, plausible, and speculative information.
- Curiosity about AI systems and ability to learn technical concepts quickly.
- Exceptional communication skills across engineering, product management, design, clinical, and member audiences.
- Experience owning initiatives end-to-end in cross-functional settings.
- Ability to work autonomously through ambiguity on early-stage projects and seek support when appropriate.

## Nice to Have
- Experience interpreting complex blood biomarkers, advanced imaging, genomics, gut microbiome, or wearable data.
- Exposure to clinical AI products, large language model evaluation, prompt engineering, or context engineering.
- Background in longevity, functional, or root-cause medicine.
- Early-stage or high-growth startup experience.
