## Job Description

## What we're looking for
- Several years of experience managing a team of engineers and owning and operating a service
- Deep experience with cloud native infrastructure and backend technologies
- Ability to help the team work through complex technical issues
- Create and maintain a positive, healthy team environment
- Drive the delivery of projects and create roadmaps for future work
- Helped a team scale both themselves and the services they are responsible for
- Experience managing a remote team

- Drive execution with emphasis on iterations, deliverables, quality, velocity, and communication
- Provide technical leadership to developers in your team and across the engineering organization
- Coach individual contributors to help them reach their full potential
- Recruit and retain strong contributors
- Scale a highly specialized engineering team by refining hiring, onboarding, and development processes

## Compensation
**USA-based roles:** $190,000 - $278,000 USD base salary + benefits, equity grant, incentive programs
**Canada-based roles:** $171,000 - $248,000 CAD base salary + benefits, equity grant, incentive programs
