## Job Description

## What You'll Do
- Own the employee experience: Lead onboarding, offboarding, and everything in between to create a strong and consistent employee experience.
- Be a trusted resource: Handle employee relations and sensitive matters with discretion, care, and sound judgment.
- Own People operations and compliance: Manage policies, the Codes Health Employee Handbook, visa support, and People documentation.
- Work closely with the CEO to shape organizational design for our scale, and hire your own team over time.

## Who You Are
- 5–8 years of HR, People Ops, or talent experience, with strong HR fundamentals and a track record of building or scaling People functions in high-growth environments.
- Energized by building from scratch, with a strong instinct for creating infrastructure and processes that help teams move faster.
- High standards, strong judgment, and the ability to build trust quickly, navigate hard conversations, and solve problems directly.
- Strong program management skills and experience with modern HR systems such as Rippling, Ashby, Lattice, or similar tools.

## Compensation
- Base salary: $100,000 - $200,000
- Meaningful early-stage equity.

- Actual base pay is based on experience, skills, and qualifications and may vary from the range listed above, consistent with New York pay transparency requirements.
