## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Own copy for product moments including onboarding, first-run editor experiences, empty states, failed and partial builds, error messages, upgrade moments, and credit prompts.
- Name features, surfaces, and settings to maintain consistent product vocabulary.
- Write and refresh marketing-page copy with product marketing, ensuring current go-to-market messaging is reflected on the website.
- Partner with an external design agency on content hierarchy, categorization, and top-level navigation.
- Diagnose and improve designed pages that are not landing, focusing on hierarchy, scannability, and fast comprehension.
- Work closely with marketing, product design, and product management in an embedded, fast-moving environment.

## Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in content design or UX writing.
- Portfolio demonstrating both in-product copy and marketing-page work.
- Experience writing onboarding flows, empty states, error messages, and upgrade moments.
- Ability to identify where messages are lost during a skim and rewrite for clarity and impact.
- Clear point of view on brand voice, with examples of applying it in copy.
- Comfort working in Figma alongside product designers and product managers.
- Experience partnering with external design agencies and internal marketing and design stakeholders.
- Full-time availability for the length of the contract; this engagement must be the primary focus.
- Applications must be submitted in English.

## Nice-to-haves
- Content strategy experience.
- SEO experience or strong SEO instincts.
- Exceptional strength in either in-product writing or web writing, even without experience in both areas.
