## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Track trends, models, and innovations in AI security and advise on appropriate architectures.
- Partner with Engineering and Application Security teams to secure AI use across the platform.
- Securely enable internal AI productivity initiatives in collaboration with Architecture.
- Protect against AI-based attacks and threats, including supply-chain compromises.
- Advise on or implement AI guardrails and controls to reduce data-loss risks and prevent insecure or unapproved AI use.
- Guide and mentor Security teams on using AI for security benefits.
- Maintain AI governance documentation and employee guidance.
- Lead complex, project-driven security enhancements across infrastructure, applications, and corporate environments.
- Architect, build, and deploy scalable, resilient security solutions with engineering and product teams.
- Build tools, guardrails, and automated workflows that enable secure software delivery.
- Identify security-posture gaps, design remediation plans, and execute them to maturity.
- Advise engineering, product, and R&D teams on security enablement.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers.

## Requirements
- **9+ years** of dedicated experience in security engineering, application security, infrastructure security, data security, or cloud security.
- Proven ability to turn ambiguous security problems into structured project plans and deliver them to completion.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, curiosity, and interest in information security.
- Ability to build effective relationships and collaborate with internal and external partners.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Deep expertise in AI, including AWS services, large language models, MCP, agentic agents, frameworks, governance and regulations, attacks, guardrails, and cost considerations.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services, especially AWS security services.
- Strong understanding of authentication and authorization protocols, including securing non-human identities.

## Nice to Have
- Software engineering background.
- AI security certification such as AAISM, AAIA, or CAISP.
- Knowledge of the NIST AI Framework or EU Artificial Intelligence Act.
- Experience with MITRE ATLAS or the OWASP Top 10 for LLMs.
- Bachelor's or master's degree focused on information systems, computer science, or security.
