## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Design parts for next-generation drone prototypes.
- Investigate root causes of mission-critical issues in existing and developing products.
- Develop solutions through engineering design and manufacturing process changes.
- Validate solutions through hands-on prototyping, testing, and data collection.
- Collaborate with engineers and suppliers globally.
- Present work in design reviews and learn from senior team members.

## Requirements
- Relentless curiosity and a scrappy, creative problem-solving mindset.
- Strong engineering fundamentals for designing complex products.
- Passion for elegant mechanical design.
- Experience with 3D CAD.

## Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with CATIA.
- Design for injection molding, metal casting, CNC machining, sheet metal forming, and composites.
- Design for manufacturing with local and international suppliers.
- Designing and integrating circuit boards, antennas, and connectors into mechanical assemblies.

## Compensation
- $41/hour for undergraduate students.
- $53/hour for graduate students.
- $58/hour for PhD students.
