## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Embed with Ramp Finance to understand how the team operates and turn planning meetings, closes, decisions, experiments, and customer conversations into useful stories.
- Write first-person posts, points of view, customer stories, and other formats.
- Work with Finance, customers, and the Economics Lab to develop original research, surveys, practitioner-led analysis, and finance insights.
- Build a repeatable finance storytelling system for identifying ideas, capturing source material, developing drafts, and publishing.
- Collaborate with data and economics teams to identify trends in Ramp’s proprietary spend dataset and support storytelling about business finance and spending trends.
- Partner with Customer Marketing, Sales, and Communications to develop customer stories.
- Own audience and distribution plans, including channels, voices, target audiences, and measurement.
- Set the quality bar for finance content.

## Requirements
- Exceptional writing ability, with the skill to make complex financial or operational ideas clear and engaging.
- Strong reporting instincts and a point of view on structure.
- Understanding of finance, including CFO organizations, accounting, FP&A, corporate finance, treasury, payments, or capital allocation.
- Data literacy and the ability to use AI and trusted data to investigate questions, identify meaningful metrics, and create stories or charts.
- Ability to write in an executive’s voice while preserving their point of view, rhythm, and convictions.
- Ability to work from rough notes and incomplete briefs.
- AI-native approach combined with personal judgment.
- Based in New York City or willing to relocate; the role works closely with the team in person.

- Annual salary: **$160,000–$220,000**.
