> The Account Executive will prospect, develop, and close new business with property management companies across an assigned Southwest territory. The role requires 3+ years of full-cycle sales experience, strong consultative selling skills, and comfort selling SaaS or AI solutions with regional travel.

## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Own an assigned territory by targeting high-opportunity accounts, generating pipeline, and establishing trusted relationships as a marketing and AI-leasing expert.
- Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting through calls, emails, and in-person visits.
- Manage full-cycle sales, including prospecting, discovery, custom pitching, multithreading, negotiation, and closing.
- Build relationships with marketing directors, regional property managers, IT and systems teams, and other decision-makers.
- Educate partners on the Apartment List platform, including A-List Market, A-List Nurture, and AI leasing solutions.
- Collaborate with Solutions Consultants, Account Managers, Marketing, and Enablement on deals and onboarding.
- Maintain pipeline hygiene and forecasting accuracy in Salesforce, Gong, and other sales tools.
- Assist with implementation after close to support go-live and handoff to Account Management.
- Travel approximately 25–40% within the assigned Southwest region.

## Requirements
- 3+ years of full-cycle sales experience, including at least 1.5 years in a field, territory, or outside-sales role.
- Proven success meeting or exceeding quota in a high-activity, pipeline-driven environment.
- Strong consultative selling skills, including discovery, objection handling, multithreading, and negotiation.
- A systematic and disciplined approach to pipeline development, sales processes, and closing new business.
- Detail-oriented, competitive, proactive, and able to operate with an ownership mindset.

## Nice-to-haves
- Experience in the multifamily industry or selling to regional or national property portfolios.
- Experience selling SaaS or AI products.
- Salesforce experience.
- Ability to quickly learn proprietary tools and technology.

## Compensation and Benefits
- OTE of **$125,000–$140,000**, with uncapped commissions and a target 50/50 base-variable split.
- Equity and a three-month ramp guarantee.
- Quarterly variable compensation structure with a guaranteed monthly draw equal to 50% of target variable compensation during the ramp period.
