## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Dive deep into existing stack (Golang, TypeScript, React Native) to ship critical features for Specialist Visits product.
- Establish initial engineering standards and build trust with cross-functional partners.
- Lead complex, cross-team initiatives to unlock new product capabilities.
- Mentor senior engineers, raising the technical bar.
- Drive architectural vision for 2026 scale-up plans, designing services for 100x growth.
- Shape long-term technical strategy, balancing delivery with reliability.

## Requirements
**Basic Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of non-internship software engineering experience building scalable backend systems and microservices.
- Expert full stack proficiency: React.js, React Native, Golang (or similar), TypeScript.
- Proven track record architecting scalable APIs (REST or gRPC) and data models.
- Experience leading technical execution in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
- Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code).

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience in rapid-growth, 0-to-1 environments.
- Deep familiarity with: React Native, React, Node.js, TypeScript, NestJS, GraphQL, Docker, Golang, AWS, Postgres, Temporal, gRPC.
- Designing integration-heavy systems (e.g., hospital systems, health plans).
- Experience in healthcare, insurance tech, or high-compliance industries (HIPAA, SOC 2).
