## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Define and drive the ClickHouse Cloud product roadmap, focusing on multi-region replication, distributed query execution, fault tolerance, storage tiering, and schema evolution.
- Collaborate with engineering to prioritize and deliver improvements to the core database engine, storage layer, and query optimizer.
- Engage directly with customers through feedback, interaction, and market research to guide product decisions.
- Partner with design, marketing, operations, and sales on feature launches, blog content, product positioning, and messaging.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success.
- Own product-related communications, manage expectations, and keep stakeholders informed.

## Requirements
- 8+ years of product management experience, including a strong background in cloud-based SaaS products.
- Deep familiarity with database systems, distributed systems, or real-time analytics platforms.
- Hands-on SQL experience and strong knowledge of query execution, indexing strategies, partitioning, and performance tuning.
- Experience with databases such as ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or other columnar databases.
- Understanding of modern data infrastructure, including data lakes, ETL pipelines, change data capture (CDC), and data orchestration frameworks.
- Ability to work with engineering on technical topics including schema management, query planning, storage engines, and schema design.
- Experience designing and delivering database replication, consistency models, and backup/restore workflows.
- Strong leadership, influence, communication, and presentation skills, including the ability to simplify technical topics for non-technical audiences.

## Nice-to-haves
- Experience working with and scaling open-source technologies.
- Prior startup experience.
