## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Acquire and close new customers in the commercial market through outbound sales activities.
- Become an expert in Datadog through ongoing product and sales training.
- Own the full sales cycle, including technical demonstrations and negotiations.
- Partner with the Sales Development team to drive prospecting activities.
- Strategically prospect CTOs, CIOs, engineering and IT leaders, and technical end users.

## Requirements
- 2+ years of IT product field sales experience, including closing.
- Strong curiosity and eagerness to learn about new technologies.
- Ability to conduct creative prospecting activities without being limited to established approaches.
- Growth mindset and ability to learn from feedback.
- Comfort working with technical products in a fast-paced environment.
- Track record of meeting sales KPIs and delivering strong performance.
