## Job Description

## Responsibilities

- Lead design across product launches, campaigns, events, internal initiatives, and emerging brand moments.
- Evolve the visual identity across typography, color, composition, iconography, imagery, motion, and product-brand expression.
- Design for web, motion, 3D, social, print, swag, and environmental applications.
- Use Figma, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AI-assisted tools to prototype and explore brand expression.
- Build scalable brand systems, tools, templates, and production-ready assets.
- Take work from concept through production, including preparing implementation files, specifications, and assets.
- Establish a shared visual language across product, marketing, and internal communications.
- Partner with design engineers to refine prototypes into high-quality digital experiences.
- Collaborate with engineering, marketing, product design, and leadership to ship cohesive work.
- Direct external studios, freelancers, photographers, illustrators, printers, and fabricators as needed.
- Present and defend creative decisions in relation to brand, product, audience, and business goals.

## Requirements

- 5+ years of experience in brand, marketing, or visual design, ideally at a SaaS, developer tools, or fast-growing technology company.
- Portfolio demonstrating exceptional taste, systems thinking, cross-medium execution, collaboration, and production work.
- Exceptional typography and layout skills with strong attention to spacing, hierarchy, rhythm, proportion, and alignment.
- Deep understanding of visual storytelling, brand systems, composition, motion, and digital experiences.
- Experience using AI throughout the design process for exploration, prototyping, production, automation, and front-end coding.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted coding environments such as v0, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar tools.
- Practical understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript sufficient to refine AI-generated code.
- Ability to create functional, interactive prototypes and work comfortably across conceptual thinking, detailed execution, and production.
- Strong production knowledge across responsive design, asset delivery, print preparation, environmental graphics, and vendor production.
- Understanding of how brands operate within products and digital experiences.
