## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Develop the long-term vision and scale day-to-day operations for the AI go-to-market team.
- Lead and manage Account Executives responsible for existing AI accounts and new business opportunities.
- Establish strategic plans, objectives, and KPIs to drive revenue expansion, product attach, retention, and growth.
- Build and develop a high-performing team through coaching, accountability, and culture.
- Coach Account Executives on consultative and solution-based selling throughout the sales cycle.
- Lead product discussions with customers and develop solution-based sales strategies.
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Product Marketing, and User Operations to shape product strategy and execute go-to-market plans.
- Serve as an internal and customer-facing expert on payments, billing, marketplace payments, embedded finance, and agentic commerce for AI-native businesses.
- Build relationships with customer executives and act as a trusted advisor.
- Create sales best practices and improve business and customer engagement models.
- Lead complex negotiations involving bespoke agreements with commercial and enterprise customers.

## Requirements
- 8+ years of sales leadership experience launching and growing high-functioning sales teams or products.
- 10+ years of experience in hyper-growth SaaS or technology environments across the AMER region.
- Demonstrated success managing existing and growth customer portfolios and driving revenue expansion.
- Ability to understand complex technical requirements and craft solutions across multiple stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of AI industry dynamics, business models, and monetization strategies, including usage-based pricing, API-first distribution, and agentic commerce.
- Strong product acumen and ability to explain complex technical product capabilities in terms of user needs.
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and executive communication skills.
- Self-starter mindset and willingness to work hands-on.
- Understanding of APIs, webhooks, and modern developer tools.

## Preferred Qualifications
- Industry experience in payments, financial infrastructure, developer tools, or AI/ML platforms.
- Existing relationships within the AI ecosystem, including AI labs, AI-native SaaS companies, or developer platforms.
- Experience selling complex platform solutions involving multiple products.
- Experience at a growth-stage software company or leading payments or fintech company.
- Familiarity with Stripe's product suite and how AI companies use financial infrastructure to scale.
