## Job Description

## Lead and Scale the Team
- Build, coach, and develop a high-performing Solutions Architecture organization across the US & Canada through hiring, mentorship, performance management, and career development.
- Raise the bar through operational excellence.

## Drive Revenue Growth
- Partner with Sales to develop and execute technical sales strategies that accelerate enterprise adoption of agentic AI.
- Contribute directly to revenue growth by pursuing and closing strategic enterprise opportunities across industries including financial services, healthcare, energy, and other key verticals.

## Build Repeatable Solution Practices
- Establish scalable solution-selling methodologies, industry playbooks, executive narratives, business cases, and technical delivery frameworks.
- Create repeatable solution assets, best practices, and implementation roadmaps to improve consistency and win rates.

## Own Strategic Customer Engagements
- Lead technical engagements with enterprise customers, serving as a trusted advisor to C-suite and senior technical stakeholders.
- Lead executive workshops, discovery sessions, solution presentations, and technical deep dives.
- Develop business cases, solution architectures, and technical proposals aligned with customer objectives and Cohere's platform.

## Architect Enterprise AI Solutions
- Guide customers in designing secure, scalable, production-ready agentic AI solutions across cloud, hybrid, VPC, and on-premises environments.
- Ensure scalability, security, governance, and operational readiness during deployment.

## Shape Product Direction
- Partner closely with Product and Engineering to translate customer feedback, market needs, and competitive insights into platform improvements and roadmap priorities.

## Optimize Technical Sales Execution
- Continuously improve technical sales processes, customer onboarding, and solution delivery practices.
- Track and report on key metrics including technical win rates, pipeline health, and team performance.

## Requirements
- 8+ years in Solutions Architecture, Solutions Engineering, Technical Consulting, or Enterprise Architecture.
- 5+ years leading customer-facing technical teams.
- Proven experience hiring, coaching, and developing high-performing Solutions Architecture or Solutions Engineering teams.
- Experience leading complex enterprise solution engagements, developing business cases, implementation plans, and executive-ready recommendations.
- Strong understanding of modern AI architectures including LLMs, agentic AI, enterprise integrations, cloud platforms, hybrid deployments, security, and governance.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with enterprise Sales organizations, influence strategic deals, and articulate business value to executives.
- Exceptional executive presence and communication skills for both business and technical audiences.
- Experience designing and delivering enterprise technology solutions in complex, regulated, or large-scale environments.

## Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building repeatable solution-selling methodologies.
- Background in enterprise AI, cloud, or data platform companies, or applied AI consulting.
- Experience supporting customers in regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, energy, or public sector.
- Experience operating in high-growth environments emphasizing speed, ownership, and cross-functional collaboration.

## Compensation
- California, New York, and Washington: $265,000 – $306,000
- Elsewhere in the US: $240,000 – $276,250
