## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Executives, Solutions Engineers, Professional Services, and partners throughout the pre-sales process.
- Conduct business discovery and communicate the business value of Twilio solutions.
- Support qualification, discovery, demonstrations, proof-of-concept work, RFP responses, design documentation, technical presentations, and enablement sessions.
- Develop expertise in customer needs and Twilio communications technology.
- Lead technical discovery sessions to uncover customer challenges and define solutions.
- Create and deliver complex presentations and product demonstrations.
- Understand customers’ businesses, solve identified problems, and uncover opportunities.
- Build trusted-advisor relationships with senior customer stakeholders.
- Present creative solutions and architectures that enable innovation.
- Share knowledge and create reusable demo assets and presentations for the Solutions Engineer community.

## Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in a technical pre-sales role in the CPaaS, SaaS, or telecommunications industry.
- Understanding of the sales cycle and the pre-sales engineer role.
- Experience with voice protocols, VoIP, SIP implementations, or messaging APIs.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, storytelling, and communication skills.
- Ability to understand customer needs and guide them toward technical solutions.
- Knowledge of public cloud platforms and cloud application architectures.
- Coding experience in backend or web technologies, such as Java, C#, Node.js, Python, PHP, JavaScript, or React.
- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.

## Nice-to-haves
- Hands-on backend development experience.
- Familiarity with mobile development, especially iOS and Android.
- Technical experience in telecommunications, SIP, WebRTC, or contact centers.
- Experience with automation, cloud-native development, and a major cloud platform.
- Familiarity with sales methodologies.
