## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Develop LLM agents, real-time anomaly detectors, and other machine learning solutions for payments.
- Partner with product, engineering, operations, and data science teams to identify opportunities, define requirements, make architecture decisions, and measure business impact.
- Design, train, deploy, and operate large-scale AI applications for batch and streaming workloads.
- Build low-latency, reliable production services with automated monitoring, retraining loops, and continuous improvement.
- Establish standards for model governance, testing, drift mitigation, cost and latency monitoring, and engineering excellence.
- Mentor teammates and foster an experimentation-driven engineering culture.

## Requirements
- 5+ years of industry experience in applied AI/ML, including an MS or PhD in a relevant field.
- Strong programming skills in Python and Java.
- Strong data engineering skills.
- Experience with modern AI/LLM workflows, including prompt engineering, fine-tuning, LoRA, RLHF, hallucination mitigation, safety guardrails, and online/offline testing.
- Hands-on experience with at least three of PyTorch, TensorFlow, scalable inference stacks, vector search, Kubeflow, Airflow, Spark, Ray, and Kafka.
- Experience designing, deploying, and monitoring production AI systems such as personalization engines or generative content services.
- Experience implementing drift, cost, and latency monitoring and automated retraining triggers.

## Nice to Have
- Experience applying AI/ML to payments.
