## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Own strategic relationships with Instacart’s largest and most complex supply chain partners, including distributors, as the primary executive point of contact.
- Define and execute long-term partnership strategies aligned with partner goals and Instacart’s commercial and product priorities.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives spanning Product, Finance, Marketing, Legal, Operations, and Partnerships; set direction, resolve ambiguity, and drive accountability without formal authority.
- Develop scalable partnership playbooks, partnership models, and go-to-market strategies for distributor and supply chain partnerships.
- Identify new business opportunities, including partner segments, product integrations, and commercial structures.
- Advise executives and product leaders on supply chain dynamics, competitive conditions, and partner needs.
- Analyze complex datasets to inform partner growth and broader strategic decisions.
- Represent Instacart in executive negotiations, industry forums, and C-suite partner QBRs.
- Mentor and informally coach partner managers.

## Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in strategic account management, management consulting, business development, or a related field.
- Track record of owning complex, senior-level partnerships and delivering measurable company-level impact.
- Experience influencing internal and external executive stakeholders without formal authority.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and executive-presence skills.
- Experience leading large, complex cross-functional initiatives from initiation through results.

## Nice-to-haves
- Expertise in supply chain, distribution, or retail ecosystems, with senior industry relationships.
- Experience structuring and negotiating sophisticated, multi-year partnership agreements.
- Experience building team-level frameworks, processes, or playbooks at scale.
- Experience at a high-growth technology company.
- Track record of influencing product roadmaps or company strategy through partner or market insights.
- Comfort operating in ambiguous, rapidly changing environments.

## Compensation
- US base pay ranges by permanent work location: $163,000–$172,000 for all other states; $179,000–$189,000 in specified states; $187,000–$197,500 in Washington; and $195,000–$206,000 in California, New York, Connecticut, and New Jersey.
- Eligible for a new-hire equity grant and annual refresh grants.
- Benefits are provided according to the applicable work location.
