## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Lead execution of tax equity and preferred equity investments, including hybrid structures, from term sheet through close.
- Identify, structure around, price, and document transaction risk.
- Build and review partnership and hybrid models; develop views on assumptions, sensitivities, and risk cases.
- Prepare opportunities for Investment Committee screening and final investment decisions, and present with support.
- Co-lead negotiations with sponsors and capital partners.
- Work with Legal, Tax, and Risk on key issues and IRS compliance.
- Contribute to investment principles, underwriting parameters, and the Investment Committee process.
- Mentor junior team members and use technology and AI to improve efficiency.

## Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Environmental Studies, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- 8+ years of experience in renewable energy, structured finance, or infrastructure investing, including direct tax equity transaction experience.
- Working knowledge of partnership structures and tax and capital account basis issues, including DROs, basis, allocations, safe harbor, and recapture.
- Experience negotiating partnership flips, T-flips, and preferred equity transaction documents; sale-leaseback experience is a plus.
- Strong modeling skills across partnership and hybrid structures.
- Experience across solar, wind, and storage technologies; emerging-category exposure is a plus.
- Strong risk judgment and excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong technology and AI capabilities, or a clear desire to advance them rapidly.
- Bank experience, particularly in project finance, structured products, or leveraged finance, or developer/sponsor experience, is a plus.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
- FINRA SIE, Series 79, and Series 63, or willingness to obtain them under broker-dealer sponsorship.
