## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Serve as the day-to-day compliance contact for sponsor bank partners, responding to diligence requests, preparing materials, and tracking open items to closure.
- Review new products, features, and market expansions for compliance impact; translate regulations and bank requirements into actionable product requirements.
- Build and maintain requirement matrices, policies and procedures, launch checklists, control descriptions, and risk assessments.
- Interpret bank partnership agreements, network rules, and regulatory guidance; identify product-design obligations and gaps.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to incorporate compliance requirements into product design.
- Support disclosure, marketing, and UX reviews for accuracy and consistency with consumer-protection expectations.
- Support bank oversight activities, audits, exams, and third-party risk assessments, including evidence collection and remediation tracking.
- Monitor regulatory and network developments related to card issuing, Banking-as-a-Service, and stablecoin-linked payments.
- Track compliance deliverables and deadlines across concurrent launches and stakeholders, escalating risks early.

## Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in compliance, risk, or regulatory roles within banking, fintech, or payments.
- Working knowledge of bank sponsorship, Banking-as-a-Service, and third-party risk management.
- Familiarity with BSA/AML, UDAAP, Regulation E, Regulation Z, Regulation CC, EFTA, and GLBA.
- Ability to interpret bank partnership agreements, regulatory guidance, and compliance requirements and convert them into product requirements.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with Product, Engineering, Legal, and bank partners.
- Excellent written communication and experience creating compliance documentation.
- Strong organizational, project management, and analytical skills.
- Ability to assess compliance risk and prioritize issues.

## Nice-to-haves
- Direct experience with a sponsor bank or bank partnership team.
- Experience at a fintech, neobank, or payments company.
- Familiarity with product or project management tools.
- CRCM, CAMS, or similar professional certification.
- Experience supporting bank exams, audits, or third-party risk assessments.
- Exposure to stablecoins, digital assets, or cross-border payments.
