## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Own the Clear-to-Build (CTB) process, providing an actionable view of material readiness against production plans.
- Develop CTB methodologies connecting demand, inventory, purchase orders, work orders, lead times, allocations, and BOM requirements.
- Establish material coverage, shortage analysis, prioritization, escalation, and constraint-resolution processes.
- Partner with Production Planning, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Finance, NPI, Logistics, IT, and suppliers to align material availability with production schedules.
- Own and continuously improve MRP processes, operating discipline, planning parameters, ERP/MRP capabilities, automation, and master-data standards.
- Lead procurement execution, including purchase-order placement, confirmations, expedites, reschedules, cancellations, supplier commits, and shortage resolution.
- Drive supplier accountability, recovery plans, inventory health, shortage reduction, excess and obsolete inventory mitigation, and material-flow improvements.
- Develop dashboards and management reporting for material readiness and operational decisions.
- Lead, coach, and develop buyers, planners, and materials professionals.
- Support NPI, engineering changes, production ramps, and continuous-improvement initiatives.

## Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in materials management, procurement, supply planning, production planning, or supply chain operations.
- 2+ years managing or leading procurement, planning, or materials teams.
- Strong knowledge of MRP logic, BOM-driven material planning, inventory management, and production supply.
- Experience developing or operating Clear-to-Build or material-readiness processes in manufacturing.
- Knowledge of purchase-order management, supplier commitments, lead times, rescheduling, expediting, and shortage management.
- Advanced analytical skills and experience working with large datasets.
- Strong cross-functional communication and ability to drive action without relying solely on direct authority.
- Ability to build scalable processes in a dynamic environment.

## Nice-to-Haves
- Experience in aerospace, robotics, electronics, automotive, medical devices, or other complex hardware manufacturing.
- Experience with multi-level BOMs and complex electromechanical assemblies.
- Experience improving MRP processes, planning parameters, ERP master data, or ERP/MRP implementations.
- Experience supporting NPI, engineering changes, and production ramps.
- Experience with SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar ERP platforms.
- Strong SQL, business intelligence, Excel, or supply-chain analytics experience.
- APICS/ASCM CPIM, CSCP, CPSM, or similar certification.
- Experience building planning and procurement processes in a high-growth manufacturing organization.

## Compensation and Benefits
- Annual base salary: $161,500–$246,500.
