## Job Description

## Responsibilities

- Build and integrate Vercel-powered internal People tools and support a headless HR technology stack.
- Build, maintain, and troubleshoot Workday integrations using EIB, Core Connectors/Cloud Connect, Workday Studio, and APIs.
- Partner with People Operations, Finance, IT, and Engineering stakeholders to understand process requirements and translate them into reliable, documented integration solutions.
- Develop working knowledge of People Operations processes, including hire-to-retire, compensation, benefits, and organizational management, to inform integration and system design decisions.
- Monitor integration health, troubleshoot failures, and drive fixes with technical and functional stakeholders.
- Maintain documentation for integration logic, field mappings, and processes.
- Contribute to testing, security, and change-management practices for HR system integrations.

## Requirements

- 4+ years of hands-on experience building and maintaining Workday integrations using EIB, Core Connectors/Cloud Connect, Workday Studio, and/or APIs.
- Experience with generative AI and agentic coding platforms.
- Working knowledge of XML/XSLT, calculated fields, and the Workday Business Process Framework.
- Genuine interest in People Operations and comfort learning the functional rationale behind business processes.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to translate technical integration details for non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to own discrete integration projects independently, with guidance on complex or ambiguous problems.

## Nice to Have

- Experience with Workday security configuration.
- Experience using Workday Extend to build applications.

## Compensation and Benefits

- San Francisco, CA base pay range: **$160,000–$195,000**.
