## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Design, test, and validate electrical systems, including power distribution, control circuits, and signal conditioning for robotic factories.
- Select and integrate motors, sensors, actuators, PLCs, and other electrical and electronic components for reliability and performance.
- Create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and harness designs.
- Establish standards for electrical documentation and best practices.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues in factory and field deployments while collaborating with mechanical and software teams on system integration.
- Scale electrical systems from design through manufacturing and deployment.

## Requirements
- Strong electrical engineering experience with hands-on skills in power systems, control systems, and industrial automation.
- Ability to read and create electrical schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams.
- Proficiency with CAD tools for electrical design.
- Experience specifying and integrating motors, drives, sensors, relays, and PLCs.
- Understanding of electrical codes and safety standards.
- Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Based in or able to relocate to the SF Bay Area and available to work 4–5 days per week from the San Leandro headquarters.

## Nice-to-haves
- Experience with high-power electrical systems, motion control, or industrial robotics.
- Four-year degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Familiarity with Python or other programming languages for testing and automation.
