## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Own the strategy and roadmap for observability products, from telemetry ingestion through developer debugging and monitoring surfaces.
- Turn support escalations, customer interviews, usage data, and competitive shifts into sequenced plans with clear tradeoffs.
- Partner with engineering on scoping and design on making dense telemetry data legible.
- Define the native-versus-integration boundary, including integrations with Datadog, Sentry, Grafana, Honeycomb, and New Relic.
- Work with enterprise customers and Sales/Solutions on observability needs affecting adoption or expansion.
- Own pricing and packaging decisions with Finance and go-to-market teams.
- Write launch narratives, changelogs, blog posts, and documentation direction with product marketing.
- Define success metrics and hold the team accountable to them.

## Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience.
- Meaningful experience with developer, infrastructure, or data-intensive products.
- Experience shipping technical products and partnering effectively with engineering.
- Ability to read trace waterfalls and reason about cardinality, sampling, and retention costs.
- Ability to own a domain end to end and translate strategy into execution.
- Strong data fluency, including writing queries to answer usage questions.

## Nice-to-Haves
- Experience at an observability, APM, or monitoring company, or as a power user of one at scale.
- Experience shipping AI or agent-facing developer tooling.
- Experience owning consumption-based pricing for a technical product.
- Active Next.js or Vercel user.

- The San Francisco, CA base pay range is $172,000 - $258,000. Actual salary varies based on job-related skills, experience, and location; compensation outside San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location.
- Total compensation may include benefits, equity-based compensation, and eligibility for a company bonus or variable pay program.
