## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Design and implement hardware and software systems for comprehensive performance and reliability validation of autonomous flying products.
- Develop and execute test plans and testing infrastructure to enable rapid design iteration and product validation.
- Analyze data, calculate statistics, and document results to explain trends and inform design improvements.
- Perform failure analysis, identify root causes, and help develop process and design mitigations for system issues.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, software, manufacturing, and quality engineering teams.
- Participate in design reviews and provide design-for-reliability input throughout the product development lifecycle.

## Requirements
- Systematic approach to problem solving and rapidly identifying issues within electro-mechanical systems.
- Strong interest in driving failure analyses to true root cause.
- Experience with Python or other programming languages for test automation, data analysis, and visualization.
- Strong desire to learn and contribute across multiple technical domains.
- Excellent project management, written and verbal communication, and cross-functional teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with testing equipment.
- Basic knowledge of stress, environmental, and accelerated life testing methods for assessing product durability and reliability.

## Compensation
- Hourly rate: **$47/hr for undergraduate students**, **$53/hr for graduate students**, and **$58/hr for PhD students**.
- Compensation may vary based on skill level, proficiencies, transferable knowledge, experience, and regional location.
