## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Own strategy and execution for the Admin platform in partnership with Product and Engineering.
- Use customer research and usage data to improve workflow configuration, knowledge management, and visibility experiences.
- Connect the roadmap to customer outcomes, including faster rollout, broader adoption, and measurable return on investment.
- Define and govern Harvey’s product design system, including patterns, quality standards, contribution paths, adoption expectations, and deviation policies.
- Set the craft bar across interaction design, systems thinking, content design, and visual execution.
- Determine how the design organization adopts and develops AI tooling, and establish AI-enabled workflows from problem definition through prototyping.
- Experiment rigorously with AI tools, measuring results and sharing effective practices across the organization.
- Build, grow, and develop a team of product design, systems, and prototyping professionals.
- Own organizational design, resourcing, and prioritization across multiple product surfaces.
- Provide strategic feedback on end-to-end product flows.
- Partner with design, product, and engineering leaders and represent Platform in executive and customer discussions.
- Establish design decision-making practices for high-trust, high-stakes environments.
- Help define the Design leadership team’s operating model.

## Requirements
- 8–10+ years of experience in Product Design.
- 5+ years of direct people management experience with product designers.
- Experience owning and scaling a design system, including driving organizational adoption.
- Experience designing and shipping AI-powered or highly technical products.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating leadership of complex products from concept through launch and measurable impact.
- Fluency with AI tooling and a clear perspective on how it changes design work.
- Experience leading design strategy and execution with Product and Engineering.
- Ability to define and ship high-quality experiences in complex, ambiguous problem spaces.
- Excellent judgment, communication, and senior stakeholder-influence skills.
- Strong people leadership, empathy, resilience, and adaptability in fast-moving environments.
- Commitment to developing people and raising the craft bar.

## Compensation
- $235,500–$325,000 USD annual compensation.
