## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Prospect for new customers.
- Assess existing customers and develop strategies to identify and engage all buying centers.
- Use a solution-oriented approach to sell and create value for customers.
- Identify viable use cases in each account to maximize the platform’s impact.
- Orchestrate and collaborate with teams to maximize the impact of the Databricks ecosystem across the territory.
- Build value through engagements to promote successful negotiations and close deals.
- Promote the Databricks enterprise cloud data platform.
- Deliver technical and business results for customers using the Databricks Platform.

## Requirements
- Proven success in digital-native sales roles, ideally in big data, cloud, or SaaS technology.
- Solution- and business-outcomes-focused sales approach, including Command of the Message, MEDDPIC, or Challenger Sale.
- Ability to clearly articulate complex cloud and big data technologies and their business value.
- Proven success and upward trajectory in prior roles.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 7+ years of experience selling SaaS solutions to enterprise customers.
