## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Design and own test systems for critical UAV components and subsystems, from concept through validation.
- Work across electrical engineering disciplines, including power electronics, RF, communications, and system integration.
- Develop PCBs to interface between test stands and the device under test (DUT).
- Build custom test fixtures integrating relays, PLCs, PCBAs, and harnesses for automated, high-fidelity testing.
- Automate test sequences using Python for repeatability, efficiency, and scalability.
- Collaborate in cross-functional design reviews and advocate for testability improvements that streamline hardware validation.
- Adapt and innovate in a fast-moving, high-stakes engineering environment.

## Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience; undergraduate, graduate, or PhD students expected to graduate in 2026 may also qualify.
- Strong foundation in electrical, mechanical, and software engineering principles.
- Experience with multidisciplinary hardware projects through internships, employment, clubs, personal projects, or research.
- Demonstrated ownership, innovation, and delivery of results in complex technical environments.
- Team-oriented, adaptable, solution-oriented, trustworthy, and committed to high standards.

## Nice-to-Haves
- Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages for automation.
- Experience with PCB design tools such as Altium, KiCad, or Eagle.
- Familiarity with CAD tools such as SolidWorks, NX, or CATIA for mechanical fixture design.
- Ability to solve problems under pressure and pivot quickly in a dynamic engineering environment.

## Compensation
- Annual salary range: $81,456–$122,184.
