## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for fraud-related escalations from partners and customers.
- Create ad hoc data pulls with SQL for anomaly investigations and analyze results for fraudulent activity.
- Document investigation findings, actions taken, and outcomes in accordance with internal processes.
- Use Visa tools to investigate transactions and report fraud to Visa and partners as needed.
- Recommend actions on cards, accounts, and rule sets based on deep dives into fraudulent traffic.
- Stay current with industry fraud trends, emerging fraud techniques, and new technologies.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Compliance teams to escalate findings and inform rule changes.

## Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in fraud prevention, payments risk, or financial crime investigation.
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Background in identity risk, AML, payments fraud, or compliance analytics.
- Ability to investigate transactions and user events and determine the risk level of anomalous behavior.

## Nice-to-Haves
- Experience at a high-growth fintech or financial services company.
- Experience with disputes and disputes processing.
- Deep experience with the Visa tool suite.
- CFE certification.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Experience using AI-assisted tools for fraud analysis, document creation, and workflow optimization.
