## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Architect or contribute to systems solving complex business challenges, focusing on scalability, distributed systems, and large data volumes.

## Requirements
- Strong logical reasoning and ability to simplify complex problems.
- Build clear mental models and approach complicated systems methodically.
- Solid understanding of design patterns, data structures, algorithms, and general systems fundamentals.
- Demonstrated experience with scalability, distributed systems, and large data volumes.
- Willingness to independently figure things out.

## Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with Golang, gRPC, PostgreSQL, Kafka, ClickHouse, and cloud functions (e.g., AWS Lambda).
- Event-driven systems, trading systems, portfolio management or accounting systems.

## Compensation
- Salary range: $200,000 to $325,000 + initial equity grant + annual performance-based equity bonuses.
- Actual compensation varies based on skills, experience, and interview performance.
