## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Own podcast and audio show pipeline management, including sourcing sponsorships, ad placements, and vendor partnerships.
- Evaluate contextual alignment between shows and the target audience.
- Build a pipeline of new shows to test against established partnerships and scale high-performing models.
- Refine the channel activation mix across host-read, run-of-network, sponsorship, and partnership placements.
- Own the audio channel roadmap and operationalize testing and scaling plans.
- Manage vendor and partner relationships end to end, including negotiation.
- Establish measurement methodology for audio channels without clean click-based attribution, using promo codes, vanity URLs, and incrementality or lift testing.
- Monitor day-to-day performance and evaluate audio’s halo effect on other channels as marketing mix modeling infrastructure becomes available.
- Partner with Creative on audio creative direction and audio-specific formats.
- Collaborate with mass media, influencer marketing, data, creative, and leadership teams on channel strategy, forecasting, and growth planning.

## Requirements
- 5–7+ years of experience managing paid media budgets, including direct audio or podcast buying experience.
- Experience owning a marketing channel and building testing frameworks and measurement infrastructure from scratch.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data tools to evaluate performance and communicate results independently.
- Experience managing external vendors or agencies and negotiating partnerships.
- Highly organized, capable of operating independently as a player-coach while building scalable processes.
- Strong understanding of measurement methodology for channels without clean attribution.

## Nice to Have
- In-house direct-to-consumer or healthcare marketing experience.
- Experience with host-read and run-of-network audio placements.
- Experience with marketing mix modeling and incrementality testing.

- Base compensation: $144,000–$168,000 USD annually.
