## Job Description

## Responsibilities

- Lead and develop a team of engineers through coaching, mentorship, and performance development.
- Plan and execute projects by translating business needs and technical requirements into clear delivery plans.
- Drive technical design discussions and reviews to ensure strong architecture, code quality, testing, and operational excellence.
- Partner with product, engineering, and adjacent stakeholders to align priorities, manage tradeoffs, and deliver customer outcomes.
- Hire and grow high-performing engineers while fostering a strong, healthy, and productive engineering culture.
- Resolve complex team and delivery issues through rigorous problem-solving, clear communication, and collaboration across geographic locations.

## Requirements

- 8+ years of software engineering experience and 2+ years of people management or technical leadership experience.
- Strong technical depth across modern software engineering practices, including distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, automated testing, and development workflows.
- Experience leading complex, cross-functional projects from planning through execution with a focus on high-quality delivery.
- Ability to think architecturally, review technical specifications, and guide teams toward sound technical decisions.
- Track record of coaching engineers, supporting career growth, and improving team effectiveness.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build consensus across teams.
