## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Own core legal areas: commercial agreements, trademarks, corporate governance/equity (with outside counsel support)
- Develop legal foundations for new products and initiatives
- Navigate AI legal implications (data privacy, model usage) with product teams
- Lead negotiations for complex enterprise MSAs and DPAs (liability caps, indemnification)
- Partner with Product/Engineering on privacy-by-design, AI data handling, compliance
- Manage outside counsel efficiently
- Advise People/Talent on HR matters across states/countries
- Provide clear legal guidance to teams
- Identify and frame risks for leadership

## Requirements
- 8+ years legal experience (ideally law firm + in-house)
- Experience supporting scaling product-led companies (Series B-D)
- Venture financings, equity, cap table, corporate governance
- Strong commercial contracting (enterprise SaaS)
- Privacy/security for enterprise, AI data handling
- Employment/HR in global remote context
- Sound judgment, clear communication on risks
- Independent problem-solving, pragmatic approach
