## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Sell Databricks’ data and AI platform to high-growth, venture-backed digital-native companies.
- Close new accounts and grow existing accounts.
- Penetrate accounts quickly, demonstrate customer value, and compress decision cycles.
- Communicate account strategy to senior leadership.
- Allocate resources to break into new accounts and expand existing relationships.
- Meet with C-level executives through practitioner-level stakeholders to understand business needs.
- Exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets.
- Build internal and external plans for account success.

## Requirements
- Passion for selling highly technical cloud products.
- Experience with open-source technologies and build-versus-buy decision-making.
- Experience with value-selling methodologies.
- Creative prospecting approach and well-defined sales motion.
- Sales experience in big data, cloud, or SaaS.
- Track record of exceeding sales quotas.
- Success closing new accounts while growing existing accounts.

## Compensation
- Accelerators are available for achieving more than 100% of quota.
