## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Be the front-line manager leading the Cloud Infrastructure team, through a mix of people, technical, and product leadership
- Inspire and lead the team through the next phases of growth ($100M+), including recruiting to grow the team, and adapting the team’s charter and vision, as the business needs evolve
- Partner closely with other functions in Engineering and cross-functional partners like Security and Finance to set direction, priorities, and ensure smooth collaboration

## Requirements
- At least 2-5 years of direct engineering management experience
- 8+ years of overall developer and management experience in total
- A strong platform engineering background of building business-specific systems that other engineering teams use, with thoughtful interfaces and smart abstractions
- Hands-on experience with **GCP** or comparable cloud provider and a typical cloud infrastructure feature set (eg: managing containerized compute, **infrastructure as code**, **CI/CD**, multi-region database architecture, **observability**, reliability & **SLOs**, cloud security)
- B2B experience, and big plus to have enterprise SaaS experience
- A mix of scrappy startup and big company experience is a plus
