## Job Description

## Role Scope
Own controls engineering across the portfolio: BMS, EPMS, and the integration layer between them.
Set the controls reference design, architecture, points standards, and sequences, one standard across every site.
Drive controls contractors and integrators to that standard, reviewing programming before it reaches commissioning.
Own the controls interface to commissioning automation so Level 4 and 5 testing gets faster every site.

## Responsibilities
- Lead controls engineering for the Capacity Delivery team, supporting gigawatt-scale data center builds.
- Engineer data centers that go up in months, not years, ensuring problems are caught on paper.
- Standardize controls across multiple sites, rolling lessons into reference designs for 50GW+ scale.
- Own technical execution across every build: drawings, field questions, and engineering calls for multiple concurrent gigawatt sites.

## Requirements
- Led controls engineering for mission critical or industrial facilities.
- Written or owned sequences of operations for complex plants.
- Standardized controls across multiple sites and enforced compliance from integrators.
- Deep knowledge of where controls projects fail (points lists, graphics, alarm floods) and how to prevent it.

## Nice-to-Haves
- Niagara or Ignition.
- EPMS platforms.
- Controls cybersecurity.
- Commissioning automation.
