## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Evangelize a future where anyone can create software in natural language.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for prospects and customers throughout the buying journey.
- Conduct compelling product demonstrations and orchestrate non-engineering hackathons.
- Articulate Replit’s value proposition and align it with customers’ business objectives.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure technical accuracy and successful delivery.
- Prepare tailored quotes and negotiate deals.
- Maintain accurate customer and forecasting data in HubSpot CRM.
- Foster relationships with existing clients and identify opportunities for expanded adoption.
- Optimize customers’ use of the Replit platform through ongoing collaboration and support.
- Gather and communicate customer feedback while championing customer interests internally.
- Travel up to 25% of the time for client meetings and events.

## Requirements
- Experience in an account executive, sales engineer, or technical sales role, preferably in SaaS or developer tools.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Experience with, or direct observation of, full-cycle sales from prospecting through closing and customer management.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and sales tools.
- Ability to quickly learn and articulate the value of new technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet.
- Self-motivated with excellent time-management and organizational skills.
- Passion for technology and current industry trends.
- Experience with or strong interest in artificial intelligence and machine learning.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle and some coding knowledge.
- Willingness to be client-facing for most of the workday.

## Nice to Have
- Active Replit user.
- Experience at an early-stage startup or in developer tools.
- Degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
